Interestingly, despite its native habitat in South and Central America, many scarlet ibises have made Florida their new home. This migration mirrors the experiences of many Naples Ladies Social Group members, who have also adopted Florida as their new home. It felt like a natural fit to choose a symbol of transplants for our logo, reflecting our shared journey and connection to this vibrant state.
