We appreciate that life can sometimes bring unexpected challenges your way. If circumstances prevent you from attending an event you’ve RSVP’d for, we kindly ask that you give us 24 hours notice. Please update your RSVP on Meetup and reach out directly to the host. Don’t post on social media in hopes that someone notices and don’t ask a friend to relay the message to the host. Changing your plans at the eleventh hour leaves an empty spot at the table, when another member on the waitlist could have joined with ample notice. Last-minute cancellations without a valid reason aren’t considerate or fair. We value your participation and cooperation in making our events enjoyable for everyone involved. Our policy is to remove members from the group who are marked as “No Call No Show” two times.
In this group, we cherish respect and kindness as our guiding principles. It’s important to recognize that not everyone will be a perfect fit for everyone else, and that’s absolutely okay! If you find yourself not clicking with someone, it’s perfectly fine to excuse yourself from the situation gracefully. Let’s also remember that gossip has no place here.
