When you submit our membership join form, we collect the following personal information: your first and last name, email address, phone number (optional), Naples residency status, how you heard about us, and a brief personal bio (optional). We also record the date and time you agreed to our Release of Liability and Community Guidelines at the moment of form submission.

When you visit our website, we may automatically collect certain technical information such as your browser type, device type, pages visited, and general geographic region. This information is collected in aggregate and is not linked to your personal identity.

We use the information you provide solely to operate and improve the Naples Ladies Social Group community. Specifically, we use your data to: send you a welcome email and your GroupSpot community invitation; communicate upcoming events, group news, and community updates; maintain an internal membership record for community management purposes; and retain a timestamped record of your agreement to our liability waiver for legal compliance.

We do not use your personal information for automated decision-making, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the operation of the Naples Ladies Social Group community.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party. We do not share your data with advertisers, data brokers, or marketing companies.

Your information may be shared in the following limited circumstances only: with GroupSpot, our private community platform, solely for the purpose of sending you a community invitation (GroupSpot's own privacy policy governs their handling of your data); with our email service provider (Resend) for the purpose of delivering your welcome email and community communications; and if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of our members or the public.

Any third-party service providers we use are contractually required to handle your data securely and only for the purposes we specify.

Naples Ladies Social Group uses GroupSpot as its private community platform. Once you join, you will receive an invitation to our private GroupSpot group. GroupSpot is a separate service with its own privacy policy and terms of service. We encourage you to review GroupSpot's privacy policy at groupspot.com before accepting your invitation.

Your participation in the GroupSpot community is voluntary. Information you share within the GroupSpot group (such as posts, photos, and messages) is governed by GroupSpot's platform policies, not this Privacy Policy.

We retain your membership information for as long as you are an active member of Naples Ladies Social Group, or as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy. Your liability waiver agreement record (name, email, and timestamp) is retained indefinitely for legal compliance purposes, even if you later leave the group.

If you wish to have your personal information removed from our records, please contact us at hello@naplesladiessocialgroup.com. Please note that we may be required to retain certain records (such as your waiver agreement) for legal reasons even after a removal request.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all data transmission. Access to member information is restricted to authorized group administrators only.

However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

You have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, request a correction of any inaccurate information, and request deletion of your personal information (subject to legal retention requirements described above).
